Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 November 2026
KeepIT is provided by Richard Gbalaka, trading as KeepIT ("KeepIT", "we", "us"). When you use KeepIT you are contracting with Richard Gbalaka, trading as KeepIT. By creating an account or continuing to use the service, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
KeepIT lets aircraft maintenance engineers record their maintenance experience, export it as PDF, Word or Excel files, import existing logs, and send entries to a supervisor for sign-off. Supervisors can sign tasks free of charge. A one-time payment unlocks exporting, importing and sending to a supervisor for the lifetime of the service.
2. Eligibility and your account
- You must be of legal age in your country, or have authority to act for the organisation you represent.
- Keep your login details confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.
- Provide accurate information (including names, licence numbers and log entries) and keep it up to date.
3. Your responsibility for log entries
You are responsible for the accuracy of your entries and any signatures you add. KeepIT is a record-keeping tool and does not replace the requirements of your aviation authority, employer or approved maintenance organisation.
4. Acceptable use
You must not misuse KeepIT, including by:
- using it for anything unlawful, or to create false or fraudulent maintenance records or signatures;
- sending spam or impersonating another engineer or supervisor;
- infringing anyone's intellectual property, including uploading logos you have no right to use;
- interfering with security — uploading malware, probing or attacking the service, or scraping it;
- reverse engineering, reselling or redistributing the service, or bypassing its technical limits.
5. AI-assisted import
PDF imports are read using automated AI processing. Imported rows may contain mistakes; you must check them before relying on them. You must have the right to upload any document you import.
6. Intellectual property
We own KeepIT, its software, documentation and branding. You keep ownership of your log entries, signatures and uploaded files, and give us a limited licence to store and process them only to provide the service. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use KeepIT under these terms.
7. Payments
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. See also our Refund Policy.
8. Service availability
We work to keep KeepIT running, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Keep your own copies of important exports.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access for a material breach of these terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious violations. You can stop using KeepIT at any time. When your account ends, we delete your data within a reasonable period, and you may ask to export it before then.
10. Liability
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.
11. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and its courts have jurisdiction. We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control. You may not transfer your account without our consent. We may update these terms and will show the new date above.
